At Teaching Personnel, we are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at one of our prestigious sixth form colleges in the South Manchester area.

This role will involve providing individual support to students aged 16-18, empowering them to reach their full potential. Previous experience as a teaching assistant is preferred, but we also welcome candidates with transferable skills and a passion for education.

Requirements:

  • Confidence in providing one-to-one support to students is essential for this role.
  • Building strong professional relationships with the senior leadership team at the college will be crucial to your success.
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills are a must for this position.
  • Being based in Central Manchester or willing to travel to the area frequently is required.

Key Information:

  • You will be supporting students aged 16-18.
  • The pay for this role will begin at £12.90 per hour, with potential for growth based on experience.
  • Working hours will be full-time, Monday to Friday.
  • This position will commence in September, at the start of the academic year.
