A thriving and innovative Ofsted rated Outstanding secondary school located in Ilford, Essex, is currently seeking a dynamic and passionate Teacher of Computer Science to join their dedicated and highly successful faculty.

The successful candidate will be joining a team that is committed to delivering exceptional education and fostering an environment where students are encouraged to explore and excel in the field of Computer Science.

Key Responsibilities:
*Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
*Develop schemes of work and lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives.
*Utilize various curriculum resources and educational technologies to enhance learning outcomes.
*Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback.
*Maintain discipline in accordance with the school's procedures and enforce school rules and policies.
*Participate in departmental and school meetings, parent meetings.
*Continuously update professional knowledge and expertise as appropriate to keep up to date with developments in teaching practice and methodology.

Requirements:
*A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
*A Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent teaching degree with a specialization in Computer Science.
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
*Proven experience in teaching Computer Science at secondary school level, including A-Level.
*Excellent knowledge of the latest educational technology and software.
*Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum and current assessment practices.
*Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
*Ability to foster a stimulating, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
*Commitment to ongoing educational leadership and professional development.
