Graduate Learning Mentor

Smile Education are thrilled to be working alongside a vibrant secondary school based in north Manchester. We are currently seeking a Learning Mentor to join the team in May 2024.
We are currently seeking a Learning Mentor to join this friendly team from May 2024 until the end of the academic year. The successful applicant will be supporting pupils across KS3 and KS4, working within the classroom to provide support to pupils in fully engaging with lesson content. Applicants should be confident in breaking down lesson content and supporting pupils with independent learning styles.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming team within a busy secondary environment. The school is based in North Manchester, within proximity to Wigan town centre. The expected salary range for this position is between £85-110 per day, depending on experience.
What to expect from applicants?
We would like applicants to be recent graduates, having graduated on or after July 2022. Applicants who graduated earlier will still be considered but must have experience working with children or young adults.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

• Be a recent graduate, graduating on or after July 2022
• Have experience in working with children or young adults in an education setting
• Available to work fulltime from September 2024
