Contract: Full-time, Temp to Perm

Pay: £143-211 (Main Pay Scale for Qualified Teachers)

We are working closely with a Secondary School situated in a suburb of Milton Keynes who are recruiting for an Physical Education Teacher from September 2024.  

The role would involve teaching Physical Education, predominantly to Year 7 - Year 13 GCSE and A Level classes (KS3/4/5). A Physical Education Teacher with at least 1 year experience teaching Business to GCSE is essential (open to ECTs with placement experience).

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Be an experienced Instructor or Qualified Teacher of Physical Education, and able to deliver to KS3 & KS4 (year 10)
  • Highly knowledgeable in Physical Education GCSE curriculum with experience working with secondary age pupils
  • Have a background of at least 1 year teaching PE or placements completed at a Secondary School
  • Knowledge of teaching and the ability to design courses
  • be able to motivate and inspire pupils of all abilities to take part and learn new skills
  • the ability to use your initiative
  • the ability to work well with others
  • excellent verbal communication skills
  • leadership skills
  • patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
