Full time (part time considered)

Teaching Personnel are looking for a Science Teacher to start as soon as possible to teach in a great Secondary school. The role involves teaching key stages 3 and 4 and possibly even post 16. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of highly motivated students and will be passionate about teaching engaging lessons that help students understand the importance of Science and the positive impact it can have throughout their life.

The science department achieves outstanding results year on year, which are above the national average. Triple Science and A-level are popular options across the school, we have excellent exam results at both GCSE and A Level. A good proportion of those students go on to study Science based degrees at university.

This faculty are friendly, hard-working, innovative, and committed to stimulating student interest in the world around them and enjoyment in their studies. We place significant emphasis on working collegiately as a faculty to share our expertise and subsequently enhance the learning experience with our students. Every member of the staff team is involved in a variety of professional learning programmes that take place across the academic year.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
